New Producer-Focused Features: Better Team Organization and Easier Deliveries

Music producers often coordinate artists, engineers, composers, and clients across multiple revisions and projects. To make collaboration easier, we’ve added several new features to Opusonix focused on team organization and project management.

Organize Collaborators with Roles

Track projects now support collaborator role labels such as:

  • Producer
  • Artist
  • Engineer
  • Composer
  • Editor

Roles are currently organizational rather than permission-based, but they make larger teams much easier to manage. Collaborators are grouped by role, allowing producers to quickly see who belongs to each part of the project.

Filter Feedback by Role

When projects involve multiple stakeholders, feedback can quickly become overwhelming.

You can now filter timestamped comments by role, making it easy to view:

  • Artist feedback only
  • Engineer feedback only
  • Composer feedback only
  • Any combination of roles

This helps producers focus on the conversations that matter at each stage of the project.

Faster Team Building

Many producers work with the same collaborators repeatedly.

The Address Book now displays role labels for previous collaborators, making it easier to identify and invite the right engineers, artists, composers, and other team members when starting a new project.

Improved Final Delivery Exports

Opusonix can now include project files when exporting a delivery package.

Previously, exports only included media tracks. With the new Include Files option, files stored in the Files pod can be packaged into the same ZIP archive, making final deliveries faster and more complete.

For example, a producer can export:

  • Final mixes
  • Alternate versions
  • Instrumentals
  • Supporting project files

all in a single package.

Built for Producer Workflows

These additions build on Opusonix’s existing workflow tools, including:

  • Timestamped audio and video comments
  • A/B mix revision comparison
  • Built-in project notes
  • File requests
  • Project to-do lists
  • One-click team notifications
  • Audio and video support
  • Calendar and Kanban project management

Whether you’re managing a single artist or coordinating a larger creative team, Opusonix helps keep feedback, files, revisions, and communication organized in one place.
