What’s New to Opusonix — July 2025 Edition

We’re in the final stretch before launch, and we’ve just rolled out a fresh set of updates designed to make your Opusonix experience smoother, faster, and even more collaborative.

Here’s a breakdown of what’s new in July:

📁 New: Files Pod

You can now attach additional project-related materials—like briefs, lyrics, cue sheets, or PDF notes—right inside your track projects. It’s a convenient way to keep everything in one place.

ℹ️ New: Audio File Info

Need to double-check the specs on an uploaded file? You can now toggle on Audio Info to view technical details such as codec, sample rate, bitrate, number of channels, and more.

🎚 New: Compact Audio Track View

Working with multiple stems or layers? The editor now offers a compact track view, so you can fit more on your screen and focus on what matters.

↩ Reversible Audio Track Deletes

Deleted an audio file by mistake? Now, instead of disappearing permanently, deleted tracks are marked as “Rejected”—so you can review or restore them later.

💬 Comments: Now Editable

We’ve added the ability to delete comments, so you can easily clean up or correct something after the fact. It applies to both text and audio comments.

✨ New: Founding User Flairs

If you’ve been testing Opusonix during the beta, your account now includes a Founding User flair. It’s our way of recognizing your early support—and it’ll stick around as a permanent thank-you.

📝 Comments Auto-Save

You no longer need to click “Save” when leaving a comment. Opusonix now auto-saves text and audio comments to prevent accidental data loss—especially helpful during fast-paced sessions.

🤝 Streamlined Editor Invitations

Inviting a collaborator is now easier than ever. Editors can join your project by simply entering their name and password—no email verification required.

📇 Contact Info for Editors

You can now add and view email addresses and phone numbers for editors inside a project, making it easier to stay in touch with collaborators.

🐞 Bug Fixes & UX Improvements

We’ve squashed a number of bugs—including a particularly embarrassing one that briefly prevented new projects from being created. 😅
Everything should now be much smoother, more stable, and more intuitive.

🚨 Launching July 28

We’re officially launching Opusonix on Monday, July 28.
If you’re part of our beta program, you’ll receive a Founding User discount to lock in a super low price. Details on pricing will be released very soon!

Thank you again for being part of this early journey. We couldn’t have done it without you—and we can’t wait to show you what’s next.
