Opusonix Update: A New Home, Gapless Playback, and Bulk Cleanup
Thank you to everyone who has sent us feedback. This update is built on it.
We work closely with engineers and producers, and what you tell us shapes how Opusonix works. Every change below came from that feedback. Please keep it coming. If something slows you down or something is missing, we want to hear it.
A Home screen built around what needs you
The new Home is a short, email-style list with three sections:
- Waiting on You: projects where someone else has acted and it’s your turn.
- Waiting on Others: projects you’ve shared where you’re waiting for a response.
- Recently Active: everything else you’ve been working on lately.
Open Opusonix and you know what to do first and who to follow up with, without opening each project to check.
The best part? Opusonix infers who’s waiting on whom based on the actions you and your clients take, so there’s nothing for you to manually configure. With this redesigned Home view, you can move fast with ease even when the projects pile on.
The tasks sidebar on Home was reordered too. It now lists Due Today first, then Due This Week, then Overdue, so the list leads with what you can act on now.
Gapless playback in albums and playlists
Tracks in the Album Planner and in playlists now play back to back with no gap. That matters for live albums, continuous mixes, and any record where one track runs into the next. You can judge transitions and sequencing the way a listener will hear them, and so can your clients.
Select, archive, and delete projects in bulk
If you are a power user, then you probably have lots of projects. Most of which you’re not going to access again (at least not any time soon). So the Projects section now has a new checkbox control at the top, like the one in Gmail. Click it to show checkboxes next to every album and track project, select as many as you want, then archive or delete them in one step.
It’s a quick way to clear out finished work after a busy stretch, instead of handling projects one at a time.
