Review a Mix, Instantly

Review a Mix, Instantly

Not every mix review needs to become a formal project.

Sometimes you need to compare two revisions before sending a final version. Sometimes you want to quickly evaluate whether a new mix is actually an improvement. Sometimes you need client feedback—but without the overhead of setting up a complicated review workflow.

That’s why we redesigned Review a Mix in Opusonix: to make starting a mix review as fast and effortless as possible.

What is Opusonix?

Opusonix is an audio review and collaboration platform built for music producers and engineers. It helps you compare mixes, collect timestamped feedback, and collaborate with clients in one place. Whether you are reviewing your own mix decisions or sending a version to a client for approval, Opusonix gives you a simple way to listen, compare, and communicate about audio.

Start mix reviews in seconds

A mix review should begin with listening, not preparation.

Typically, you create a new project in Opusonix first before you collect files from your clients, or upload your mixes. Those steps can be useful for larger productions, but they are unnecessary when you simply want to compare mixes and make decisions quickly.

With the updated Review a Mix experience, your workflow starts with your audio.

Drop in one or more mixes, and you’re ready to review. The project title is now optional and automatically suggested from your filename, so you can start without stopping to organize details.

Need client feedback? Invite your client right away. Reviewing on your own? Just start listening.

Built for solo reviews and client feedback

The newly improved Review-a-Mix experience is enhanced to let you get started with the mix review right away, with minimal mental friction or time effort for both you and potentially, your collaborators.

  • Compare alternate mix versions before delivery.
  • Evaluate changes after adjusting production or processing.
  • Review rough mixes before sharing them externally.
  • Send mixes to clients for approval.
  • Collect feedback without long email threads or confusing version discussions.

Whether you are reviewing alone or involving a client, the workflow remains lightweight.

Start with your mix. Add collaboration when you need it. That’s the new Review-a-Mix experience. Give it a try, and let us know how you like it!
