New in Opusonix: Faster Mix Review with Simplified UI

Introducing Audio Review Mode: Faster, Simpler Mix Reviews

Mix reviews don’t always need a full project workspace.

After observing how engineers and clients collaborate in real-world mix projects, we found that most interactions center around reviewing mix revisions, exchanging feedback, and approving final versions. To better support this workflow, we’ve introduced a dedicated Audio Review Mode in Opusonix.

A Workspace Built for Mix Reviews

Audio Review Mode presents only the tools participants need during a review session:

  • Notes Pod – Add welcome messages, listening notes, revision summaries, or project goals.
  • Media Track Pod – Upload, play, compare, and review mixes with timestamped comments.
  • Always-Visible Chat Stream – A familiar, low-friction communication channel that keeps conversations organized and connected directly to the project.

By simplifying the workspace into a few intuitive modules, clients can immediately understand how to participate, while engineers can keep all review communication centralized in one place.

Faster File Requests

We’ve also improved file requests.

When requesting files, users can now quickly select existing collaborators from a role-grouped list instead of manually entering email addresses each time. Manual email entry remains available, but requesting files from current project participants is now significantly faster.

Built for Simple Reviews—and Much More

While Audio Review Mode streamlines one-off mix projects, Opusonix continues to support larger and more complex productions.

Producers, composers, and production teams can still take advantage of Opusonix’s audio-native project management features, including project boards, task tracking, calendars, version management, file collection, collaboration tools, and centralized communication.

Whether you’re reviewing a single mix or coordinating an entire production, Opusonix provides a workspace designed specifically for audio workflows.
